Basker Dubbaka and Sunshine Overseas Education Consultancy Awarded Quality Entrepreneur 2026 in Västra Götaland County

Basker Dubbaka and Sunshine Overseas Education Consultancy have been awarded the title of Quality Entrepreneur 2026 in Västra Götaland County – a distinction granted to only approximately three percent of all companies in the county.

Since 2017, Basker Dubbaka has built Sunshine Overseas Education Consultancy with the mission of helping international students find the right educational opportunities in Sweden and across Europe. Through the company, he works with student recruitment, guidance, and educational consulting for students from India, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia. He supports students throughout the entire process, from providing information about universities and scholarships to assisting with applications, funding opportunities, accommodation, and settling into a new country.

One of the key factors behind the company’s success has been Basker’s genuine passion for helping people. Even before establishing the business, he regularly guided friends, relatives, and students who were interested in studying abroad. Over time, this passion developed into a professional consultancy where the focus has always been on providing accurate information, personalized support, and high-quality service to every student.

Today, Sunshine Overseas Education Consultancy collaborates with several Swedish universities and educational partners throughout Europe. Through education fairs, seminars, and close cooperation with universities, the company helps many students each year begin their international education journey. Basker describes it as highly rewarding to contribute to students’ academic success, personal growth, and future career opportunities.

The future looks promising for the company. In 2025, Basker opened an information center in Hyderabad, India, and he plans to continue expanding the business internationally. At the same time, he remains committed to maintaining the personal approach and dedication that have earned the trust of both students and university partners.

Basker would also like to express his sincere gratitude to his university partners across Sweden for their support and collaboration throughout the years. He would also like to thank his wife and two daughters, whose encouragement and support have played an important role in the company’s journey and success.

Congratulations to Basker Dubbaka and Sunshine Overseas Education Consultancy on being named Quality Entrepreneur 2026 in Västra Götaland County.
